Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
The teenage years are important years in the development of a child into a young adult. The teenage years lay the foundation for adulthood and many of the things that teenagers believe are developed during this time and have a huge affect on their adults years. We believe that it is important that our teens not only develop physically, emotionally and mentally, but also spiritually. We also believe that the next leaders of our church are being developed as teenagers, but what if they learn to lead now? We believe our teens will reach our city and region and it starts here. We would love to have your teens come and worship with us, develop leadership skills and also to grow spiritually.
Rooted Teen Meetings
Although we do not have a weekly meeting right now, we are still doing things. We have begun to focus more on one-on-one discipleship. Corey along with a couple other youth leaders from our church are meeting with teens weekly for individual discipleship. We believe this is a core building block of a person's faith. Want to receive individual discipleship? Contact Corey at 309-781-5417.
Wednesday Open Gym
On Wednesday's we open up our gym for teens in our area to have a safe place to make friends, play games, and hear a short devotional. All teens are welcome to come from 4-6 p.m. If you have any questions call Corey at 309-781-5417.
Have Questions about Faith?
Get Connected. Go Deeper.
Sometimes we have questions about life and faith that we are not sure how to answer. God has given us His Word through the Bible and although we all have access to it, sometimes we have questions. We may not have all the answers, but we might be able to help lead you in the right direction. If you have a question or would like an opportunity to discuss things with a pastor, let us know in the "Contact Us" form at the bottom of the page. Our goal is not to give you the answer but help ask questions to further your faith.
